What Is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based talking Therapy that helps people understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

It is a practical, goal-focused approach that helps young people develop coping strategies, solve problems and make positive changes.

CBT is recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) as a first-line treatment for many Mental Health difficulties in Children and Young People. At The Blooming Minds Project, we follow evidence-based CBT approaches to ensure Young People receive the best possible support.

Taking the first step can feel difficult, but you and your child don't have to face things alone.

If you're experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, or other challenges, CBT may help you develop practical ways to cope and move forward. I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore what's going on for you and discuss whether CBT could be helpful for you and your family.

If you'd like to find out more, I warmly invite you to get in touch for an informal conversation. There is no obligation, just an opportunity to discuss your situation and see whether working together feels right for you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
