The service supports Children and Young People across Childhood and Adolescence.

Ideally, a Young Prerson will have some level of willingness to engage with therapy. However, they don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what they want help with or feeling completely comfortable about starting.
The first assessment provides an opportunity to understand their concerns, explain what therapy involves and work together to identify goals that feel meaningful to them.

Any disclosure relating to self-harm, suicidal thoughts or significant risk will be taken seriously.
A risk assessment will be undertaken and appropriate safety planning and support will be discussed.
Where necessary, information may need to be shared with Parents/Carers or other professionals to help keep the Young Person safe. The Young Person will be involved in these discussions wherever possible.

Yes. The service can provide support for emotional and psychological difficulties experienced alongside or in relation to ASD and ADHD.

Yes. We can work with your child in a way that is most comfortable for them. The ideal environment is face to face but we understand this can be daunting and may take time to build up to this, we can support your child every step of the way.

We are based in Brentwood, Stock and Chelmsford. We are also able to offer Home/School Visits if you are unable to come to us. This can be discussed in your Telephone Consultation.
